DIY projects using Vintage Lace & Doilies

Hi Creative Friends,

I wanted to share some photos of creative embellishing with sealah no sew adhesive to inspire you to use our products during the summer!

My daughter Kay embellished this linen apron to wear recently for a creative event. The entire apron has been embellished using our sealah no sew adhesive.

The large pocket is a napkin laid flat with a doily placed in the center. She added old ball fringe  I  had tucked away in my sewing room. The monogramed Eiffel tower tea towel was a gift she decided to cut down and place on the top pocket area. A few ribbons taped on to break up the cream apron. I love the fabric flower she added as a finishing touch on the project.

A great re-do on a lampshade using dollies all adhered and placed with Sealah No Sew tape.

Glass bottles and vases are fun to embellish using our sealah tape. Kay said she loved how it dried clear with no yellowing and it lays flat right up against the glass...she also shared the seashells were all attached using e6000.

Did you know you can use sealah no sew adhesive on metal? This metal treasure box is so beautiful! The lace was tea stained first and sealah taped right on the metal box.  I love it. Seashell were added last using e6000.

Happy Summer!
I hope lace projects have inspired you to get busy with creating using our adhesives!

Thank you Kay Ellen for sharing your photos and artful projects.

Easter Blessings

A quick post to tell my blogging family Happy Easter.

Pictured above is my daughter Kay Ellen's centerpiece she designed this year for her Easter table.

Sorry I have been out the blogging world for quite some time. We have been traveling alot to trade-shows with Jodees Inc. selling our adhesive products and the day we returned from our last trip my husband had a scare and spent a couple days in the hospital, grateful he is feeling better now.

Last week we lost a 32 year old young father in our family; Paul Daniel Soholt
It has been a difficult time for everyone that loved him.
We would covet your prayers for the Soholt Family as time moves forward.

I am packing tomorrow for the International Window Covering Expo that will take place at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada this week.

My daughter Kay Ellen and I are excited to connect and visit with colleagues, vendors and friends.

Easter Blessings & thank you for stopping by,

French Inspired

A French Inspired Art Board

My daughter Kay Ellen just returned from a french inspired artistic event.

She decided to join in an art project where twelve artists would make 3"x 3" moulin rouge inspired paper art pieces....She did not know what the other artists were going to make or design until the final reveal at the event.

It turned out so beautiful! I have only seen the photos so far...I can't wait to see the finished project in person.

Kay said she used our sealah no sew tape on all her pieces and one little dab of hot glue for her creamy heart button.

Inspiring Art & Project!

Burlap and Sealah Tape

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone has recovered from Christmas and New Years.

My husband and I were both sick over the holidays so we were slow moving but still enjoyed all the celebrations.

We did get away for a few days after the holidays and one of our stops was visiting a sweet friend Anita in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She has a beautiful boutique and bakery near our condo.

Anita has been a faithful client using our no sew adhesives products for displays and props for over seven years.
Her latest creations are featured in these photos. She made burlap skirts and draperies using our sealah no sew tape!
Burlap is not easy to work with on the sewing machine but with Sealah tape it is a breeze!

Thank you Anita for the mention on your blog about our no sew tape. If you are interested in making burlap draperies I would suggest to order our 5 yard or 30 yard 3/8" width roll.
It really works great for hemming and rod pockets.

The bakery side of Anita's shop is new and we sure enjoyed sampling those yummy cupcakes!

You can place and order for our tape products HERE and visit Anita's Blog HERE
Also our daughter Kay Ellen took a couple of pretty photos of Anita's cupcakes HERE

Have a great week friends!

Jodees Inc. is getting ready for another trade show at the end of the month. We are busy restocking our warehouse with products and will be arriving in Phoenix, Arizona on 26th of January!
