A Thankful Time

Hello Sealah Tape Friends!

Such a beautiful Fall season we are having. I am counting my blessings and thanking our Lord for each precious day he gives us.

A very busy season sewing and taping! Each job is an amazing blessing!

We are having Thanksgiving at our home this year and I love the idea of making a new table cloth. Are you considering a new table cloth for Thanksgiving? What about making your own table cloth!

Grab some no sew sealah tape and have fun. Hemming is very easy to do with our sealah no sew products! I would suggest our 1/2" width or 3/8" width roll to hem.

My daughter Kay Ellen just put up photos and ideas for a Thanksgiving table setting... and a tutorial on hemming fabric with our sealah products to make a Holiday table cloth... Click here to see!

Have a blessed and thankful week!

Fall Colors Become Alive in Fabric

Hi Sealahtape Friends!

Here is a Fall feeling valance, floral with a touch of plaid.

I still enjoying sewing after twenty five years of owning a drapery workroom. My new resources come in handy on every window treatment. This Box Pleated valance I used our sealah shaper wire in the hem and to bend the edges of the drapery treatment.
It helps hold the pleats into place and gives a crisp finshed look.

We sell this product in 7 yard spools... 20"gauge wire doublesided adhesive. What a life saver!

Please email me or leave a comment if you would like a small sample to try.

I hope you are having a beautiful Fall season. Have a blessed Halloween with your family and friends.

Happy Creative Week!

French Inspired Bulletin Board

Hi Creative Friends,

I am returning from a few days away in Arizona. Refreshed and ready to get back to work!

The photo above is close up picture of a re-covered bulletin board my daughter Kay Ellen designed. All the elements on the board have been added with Sealah no sew tape. No staples or glue gun needed.

I am packing some sealah tape products for a trade show in Colorado in the morning and sewing up a storm for a design job this week.

Only a few days left of September and I am hopeful that Fall weather will make it's way to Southern California!

Have a wonderful week,

A Creative Getaway

Hello creative friends!

The photos you are seeing above have been created by a friend in Arizona. Her name is Vanessa Valencia and her blog is called: A Fanciful Twist
She created a charming Gypsy style covered Wagon for a getaway on her property.

She blogged about it on September 3rd...Post called: Gypsy Enchanted Play Time... She used our sealah tape to put up the beautiful large lace trim all around the inside of the wagon and attached it to a red and white fabric. So pretty!

She also has fiber feeling paper and art she sealah taped to metal for a back drop on the walls of the wagon.

Thank you Vanessa for sharing your beautiful artistic photos and wagon with us!
Tickled you used the sealah tape for your finishing touches:)

Click on Vanessa's blog name above and see all her creative art and treasured dolls she creates.

Please email us with projects you are making using our sealah tape! Always a pleasure to see what everyone is creating!

A Quick Embellishing Idea

Hello,

Here is a fun and quick idea to spruce up a room.

The pillows were purchased at a super store. I needed a quick solve for pink accents in my guest room. I know.... I sew! Unexpected company was coming so I asked my daughter Kay Ellen to transform the pillows fast.

The trim and button box came out of the sewing room and an old hankie that belonged to my Mom.

Quickly we used the sealah tape to apply the rick rack, hankie and buttons...In less then 20 minutes we transformed the two ready made pillows!

If I ever get tired of the trim or hankie I put on the pillows I can take it off with our product called UnDo and it will not hurt the fabric!

Kay and I used the 5 yard spools of 1/2 and 1/4 to complete the pillows.
The undo and sealah tape is available on our website!

Have a wonderful week,

Dee

Hi Sealah tape friends,

We have a blogging friend Trisha from Vintage Bliss who is going crazy with our sealah tape no sew adhesive ... embellishing jackets, tote bags and so much more!

She sells some of the things she makes and also teachs classes for crafty creative women.

I love the denim jacket she embellshed! Trisha told my daughter Kay Ellen that it sold right away and wished she would have made more for her show.

I get so tickled when I see fashion ideas with our products!

The vintage fabric, rickrack and ball trim is so pretty on the denim jacket!

What a great idea for a decorated canvas tote?!

Draperies are installed...

Good morning Blogging Friends,

Thank for all the emails and well wishes on my new blogging adventure.
My daughter KayEllen is showing me the ropes!

My business is filled with fabric, sewing, tape, and drapery installations.

Here are two window treatments that I fabricated and my daughter designed.

The sealah tape always comes in handy, I used the no sew tape on each window treatment.

The board mount valances on the french doors are hemmed with our 3/8 inch sealah tape.

This Goblet Valance I made turned out so pretty. I added the trim with our widest width 7/8 sealah no sew tape.

Be sure and email your testimonials using our products for the website.

Off to measure windows with KayEllen today.

Have a great weekend,

Dee

Finished and Embellished

Hi Sealah friends,

I have not slowed down much since summer began. I have been sewing a lot...
and of course embellishing my creations using our sealah tape products.

All the photos above have fringe, rope and trim added and embellished using our no sew adhesive tape products.

The heavy fringe above I used our 7/8 "sealah no sew tape to complete the throw all the other accent trims on the pillows I used our 1/2" width to finish.

Shipping this project off to a long distance client in Philadelphia.

Have a great weekend everyone...back to the sewing room for me!

Bend it Shape it... anyway you want!

Hello creative friends!

I wanted to show you this box pleated valance I made. My daughter designed the treatment and I fabricated the valance.

A great finishing touch in this valance is our bendable wire. I placed the sealah 20 gauge wire into the hem of the valance.

You can see in the picture how crisp each fold is...that's the wire doing it's job!!!

Bend it shape anyway you want too!

We sell the sealah 20 gauge shaper in 7 yard spools. If you are interested in ordering a spool just head over to the website:) BTW it is a no sew product!

Please email me or leave a comment sharing what you have made with the shaper product!

For a few more pictures please check out my daughter's blog today!

A fun wall hanging project!

Hi friends,

This is fast and easy project you can do with sealah no sew tape!

You start with a solid color place mat. Find a piece of fabric with a print to center on the place mat.
Cut the fabric to a desired size use raw edges...no sewing friends.

Measure out trim for the place mat. Top and bottom ball fringe. I added black fringe on the bottom to ad weight to the wall hanging.

To hide the raw edge of the printed fabric use a rickrack to hide any mistakes. Frame around the fabric square.

Just tape away...Peel,Press and Stick!

I would suggest to purchase the 5 yard variety pack. It is the best way to complete the project. Several widths of tape to match up your trim and fabric.

You could make at least 6 wall hangings with the variety pack of tape.

Have a crafty week with Sealah!

Adding trim to a lampshade

Hi friends,

I thought it would be nice to show an example of adding trim to an existing lamp shade.
This fringe and gimp really gives this lamp shade a custom look.

My daughter KayEllen used our 1/2" sealah no sew double sided tape for both the gimp to outline the shade and the fringe at the bottom to complete the project.

You can change the look of a lampshade fast and easy with our tape!
No mess, odor or yellowing!

Have a creative week!

French Inspired

Hi Friends,

I thought I would show you another trade show drapery vignette.

This Window Expo event was in Georgia.

The designer featured used our tape products in selected areas.

The cornice board has our sealah shaper 7 guage on the ruffle. Our shaper actually has created the ruffle affect.
Can you see how it stands out?! You can bend it or shape it anyway you want! It is sold in of 7 yard spool on our website.

The side panels we hemmed with our sealah no sew 1/2" size tape. .

The lamp shade is recovered to match the chair. The designer used our sealah no sew double sided adhesive to apply the fabric and trims. She decided to buy our 5 yard variety pack. You get 5 sizes in the pack. Very handy when you need several different widths for your project.

Also the designer had enough no sew tape left over from the variety pack...she embellished the pillow trims with our tape!

Remember our product does not yellow. Has no toxic smell. Odorless!! Clear and thinnest on the market!
Drys in 24 hours or sooner if you press it with an iron:)

Thanks for stopping by!

Drapery Ideas with the help of Sealah "No Sew" Products

Hello,

This drapery treatment was displayed at our Window Covering Expo in Massachusetts.

The side panels were hemmed with 7/8"sealah no sew tape. Banding salvage edge was taped with 1/2" sealah tape and then sewn to complete each panel.

The Cornice Board was stapled and padded. The ball trim at the edge of the shaped cornice was added with sealah no sew 1/2" inch tape.

All sealah no sew tapes are available in 5 yard and 30 yard spools on our website.

The scroll look was stapled down first in the shape desired, then the welt was attached with double sided 20 gauge sealah shaper. It has a flexible thin wire that helps with the ease of placing the welt.

The 20 guage sealah shaper is sold in 7 yard spools on our website.

All our products are a wonderful help to drapery workrooms, time saving value with each drapery project.

Be creative with Sealah Tape!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Apron's are in Fashion

Hello Friends,

I thought I would share this apron with you this week.

Have you noticed how popular aprons are right now? I bought this ready made canvas apron at Joanne's Craft Store and my daughter Kay Ellen had fun embellishing it with fabric, ribbon, trim and buttons she found in my drapery workroom. She used our tape to add each item.

This photo and my daughter's blog are featured in Artful Blogging by Somerset Studios 2009 Summer Issue!

It is available to buy at Barnes and Noble right now.

We are thrilled that an apron embellished with sealah tape was featured in her article.

Have a great week.

Be inspired to embellish and create with Sealah no sew tape!
