DIY projects using Vintage Lace & Doilies

Hi Creative Friends,

I wanted to share some photos of creative embellishing with sealah no sew adhesive to inspire you to use our products during the summer!

My daughter Kay embellished this linen apron to wear recently for a creative event. The entire apron has been embellished using our sealah no sew adhesive.

The large pocket is a napkin laid flat with a doily placed in the center. She added old ball fringe  I  had tucked away in my sewing room. The monogramed Eiffel tower tea towel was a gift she decided to cut down and place on the top pocket area. A few ribbons taped on to break up the cream apron. I love the fabric flower she added as a finishing touch on the project.

A great re-do on a lampshade using dollies all adhered and placed with Sealah No Sew tape.

Glass bottles and vases are fun to embellish using our sealah tape. Kay said she loved how it dried clear with no yellowing and it lays flat right up against the glass...she also shared the seashells were all attached using e6000.

Did you know you can use sealah no sew adhesive on metal? This metal treasure box is so beautiful! The lace was tea stained first and sealah taped right on the metal box.  I love it. Seashell were added last using e6000.

Happy Summer!
I hope lace projects have inspired you to get busy with creating using our adhesives!

Thank you Kay Ellen for sharing your photos and artful projects.

  1. I found your blog from your lovely daughter. You both have inspired me. This tape looks like great fun! Is it machine washable?
